Danielle Felicia Sedbrook is freelance writer and academic editor living in German farm country. Her writing centers on science and nature, with a special interest in space, the origin of life, and ecology. Danielle’s work has appeared in Inverse, ChemMatters, New Scientist, and Smithsonianmag.com, among other venues. She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers and the Writers in Stuttgart, and is currently a Masters Student in the Science Writing Program at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to her popular science writing, Danielle provides writing and editing services for scientists in Industry and Academia who wish to improve the quality of their written work. She also writes narrative nonfiction and fact-checks science-based news and magazine articles. Born and raised in Colorado, Danielle has a PhD in chemistry from Columbia University. Before moving to Germany she taught organic chemistry lab and lecture at Columbia.
